Beta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Chi

House Corporation

Membership

If you are a Beta Kappa Sigma Chi in good standing, you are a member.

Every initiated member of the Beta Kappa Chapter who is in good standing with both Sigma Chi International Fraternity and the local chapter is a member of the House Corporation. There is nothing to join and no separate dues to pay for membership itself — it comes with your initiation.

The House Corporation is the alumni body that owns and operates the chapter house. It holds the property, carries the insurance, sets and collects house bills, maintains the building, and is leading the capital campaign to build a new home for Beta Kappa.

Members are entitled to see how the corporation is run. The bylaws and the minutes of board meetings are available to every member through the member portal.
